SoCal Airsoft Rule Set
SoCal Airsoft has had an official rule set since day one. In fact, it was pretty much untouched since it was first written 10 years ago. As you all know, airsoft as a hobby and sport has changed dramatically since then, calling for a face-life of our rule set. This time, we wanted to not only get it right, but to incorporate the local fields so we can further unify the Southern California airsoft community. For example, no matter what field you go to, they will have the same goggle rules, FPS limits, engagement distances, etc. For field owners, they won’t have to contend with players throwing the “… but at such-and-such field I’m allowed to!” The following fields are on-board so far with more being approached and added:
Code Red Airsoft Park
Rampant Lion
Mr. Paintball
St. James Grenadiers
Tons of headaches solved on both ends all by us getting of our collective butts and hammering out the rule set. Now, we are NOT forcing our rule set on anyone, group or field. Our rule set is generic enough that any player/group that are willing to comply will be good-to-go at any field you go to in Southern California.
The rule set was a collaboration between veteran players, field owners and a few SoCal staff members. It’s our labor of love and experience… and we’re proud of what we accomplished! Enough rambling, read on for yourself.
